Deleting your data
Last updated: 8 November 2026
You can ask Consortium Ventures, S.L. (“Consortium Collection”, “we”) to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time, including what reached us through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp. This page explains how, what we delete, what the law makes us keep, and how fast it happens.
How to ask
Use whichever is easiest for you:
- By email: write to info@consortiumcollection.com with the subject “Delete my data”, ideally from the email address you used with us.
- On WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook: send us the message “Delete my data” from the account or number you used to contact us.
Tell us anything that helps us find you: your name, the email address or phone number you gave us, or your Instagram or Facebook name. If we can’t be sure the request comes from you, we will ask you to confirm it, so that nobody can delete someone else’s data.
Data from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
When you message or comment on our Instagram account or Facebook Page, or write to us on WhatsApp, we keep your name or username, your number or the id Meta gives you for our account, and what you wrote or sent, with your enquiry. On request we delete all of it from our records.
Deleting a message or comment in the app itself removes it from Meta’s platform, not from our records, so ask us as well. To delete what Meta holds about you, use the settings of Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp.
What we delete
- Your contact details and your enquiries.
- Calls with us: the recordings and their written versions.
- Your messages and emails with us, and the photos, files and voice notes in them.
- Messages and comments that reached us through Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.
- Our own record of your visits to this website. You can also delete it yourself straight away: open your cookie settings and take back your yes to counting visits.
- What our notes and our AI assistant wrote about you.
If you said yes to advertising and sent us an enquiry, Google may already have been told about the ad click that led to it. That carries no name, email or phone, and nothing more goes to Google once your data is deleted.
What we must keep
If we have worked together on a purchase or a sale, the law makes us keep some records for a time even when you ask us to delete them:
- the identity checks and records of the purchase or sale that the anti-money-laundering law asks of estate agents, for ten years after it ends (Law 10/2010, articles 2 and 25);
- invoices, contracts and the other records and correspondence of our business, for six years (Commercial Code, article 30).
We delete everything else. What we have to keep is set apart and locked: no one at Consortium Collection uses it, and it can only be given to the courts and the authorities that are entitled to it (LOPDGDD, article 32). It is deleted when its period ends.
If you only want us to stop contacting you, say so: we stop at once, and keep only what we need to make sure we don’t contact you again.
How fast
We delete your data within one month of your request, and tell you by the channel you used when it is done. If a request is complex we may need up to two months more, and we will tell you why within the first month (GDPR, article 12). Copies in our providers’ backups go when those backups expire.
If you are not satisfied
You can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), or to the authority where you live. More about how we handle data is in the privacy policy.
